Google Next ’22 – Reimagining Connection, Coast to Coast

As Google returned to in-person experiences in 2022, it did so with ambition—activating Google Next across two coast-to-coast venues, each designed to reengage audiences in bold, meaningful ways.

At the Sunnyvale campus in California, we transformed an entire Google office building into a vibrant, hands-on playground tailored specifically for developers. Inside, the space pulsed with activity—spaces to code, collaborate, and connect. Outside, the surrounding campus came alive with curated experiences, social zones, and unexpected moments of delight that made the event feel more like a festival of innovation than a typical conference.

I served as the Design Director across both the East and West Coast activations, with my primary focus on leading the creative vision and execution for the Sunnyvale experience. From architectural reinvention to environmental storytelling, our team reimagined what a developer event could be—one rooted in utility, creativity, and the unmistakable spirit of Google.
