Google at Gartner – Turning Infrastructure Into Inspiration
At the Gartner conference, Google showed up with purpose, creativity, and a little bit of unexpected magic—activating three distinct spaces, each designed to meet a different kind of audience where they were. From executive-level conversations to hands-on product demos, every environment was crafted to spark curiosity, invite meaningful connection, and showcase Google’s leadership in cloud and enterprise solutions.
One of my favorite creative challenges was turning something that’s usually invisible—Google’s powerful data infrastructure—into a show-stopping moment. We reimagined a humble server rack as an “infinity rack” installation, using mirrors and carefully tuned lighting to create an endless, mind-bending visual illusion. Educational, sculptural, and irresistibly photogenic, it became the most talked-about centerpiece on the show floor.
As Design Director, I shaped the narrative and spatial strategy across all three environments, ensuring each moment felt consistent yet distinct. The infinity rack, in particular, perfectly captured what I love most about this kind of work: making even the most technical topics feel human, immersive, and just a little bit magical—in true Google fashion.
